We are looking to expand our Operations and Graphic Design team of talented and dedicated people to collaborate on projects throughout Australia and New Zealand. We are seeking a Visual Marketing Assistant to join our Brisbane Studio in a full time, permanent capacity.
Skills & Experience
The Visual Marketing Assistant provides marketing and graphic design support that contributes to the promotion of the MODE brand while also providing assistance to the Commercial Graphic Design discipline. This role supports the Marketing, Business Development and Submissions Disciplines through the development of high‐quality visual, written and digital content, in accordance with MODE brand standards.
This role requires a close working relationship with Management at MODE to deliver high quality outcomes both efficiently and successfully.
The position is suited to an emerging visual marketing communicator with strong design fundamentals, high attention to detail and an interest in both marketing communications and graphic/wayfinding design
Profile and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have
* Design or Marketing Qualifications and Aptitude: A tertiary qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing or a related field, with strong typography, layout and composition skills.
* Design Software Capability: Proven capability in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and confidence using Microsoft Office applications to produce polished, professional documentation.
* Attention to Detail: A strong eye for detail and visual aesthetics, with the ability to deliver production‐ready artwork across print and digital media.
* Strong Written & Verbal Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging and communication style to suit different stakeholders while ensuring all content remains on‐brand and aligned with strategic objectives.
* Proactive & Initiative-Driven approach: A proactive, organised and results‐driven approach, with the ability to manage time effectively, work collaboratively, and contribute positively to team and business objectives.
You will be able to
* Marketing & Brand Support
You will be able to produce and coordinate high-quality marketing collateral across print, digital and spatial platforms, including brochures, website content, social media and newsletters. You will also write and edit engaging, on-brand content while maintaining accurate and up-to-date project information that supports business development and brand strategy.
* Business Development & Operations
You will be able to contribute to tenders, submissions and fee proposals by preparing visually compelling and accurate documentation in collaboration with Marketing and Business Development teams. You will maintain CRM and marketing records, support project completion processes and ensure all deliverables meet agreed time, quality and scope requirements.
* Design & Visual Communication
You will be able to assist in delivering branding, print, digital and spatial design outputs that align with company standards and statutory requirements. You will support the preparation of presentations, signage documentation and production‐ready artwork for both internal initiatives and external client projects.
