DJK Mechanical Repairs is a trusted light vehicle workshop known for honest service, quality workmanship, and strong relationships with our customers. We're a friendly, down-to-earth team, and we're looking for an experienced Administrator who's comfortable in a workshop environment and ready to take charge of the front office.
About the Role:
This is a full-time, (3 months probation) hands-on admin role in a busy workshop starting October 2025. You'll be responsible for handling customer enquiries, managing bookings, coordinating jobs, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Answering phone and in-person enquiries
Booking in jobs and managing the daily/weekly schedule
Invoicing, quoting, and processing payments
Communicating with customers about repairs and timeframes
Ordering parts and workshop supplies
Maintaining accurate records and workshop admin
Supporting the mechanics and workshop manager as needed
What We're Looking For:
Previous admin experience in a mechanical or automotive environment
Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
Strong computer skills and attention to detail
Good understanding of car parts and servicing processes (highly regarded)
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
Friendly and approachable with a team-player attitude
