Contract Management Opportunity

Sandvik Mining, as a global leader in Original Equipment Manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing contracts, personnel, and quality control within the region.

This challenging role requires strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and effective communication. As a Contract Manager, you will oversee contract efficiencies, financial targets, and customer relationships at a senior level.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Managing EHS requirements: Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards at Sandvik and customer sites.
* Hiring and onboarding: Manage the recruitment process, training, and development of new team members.
* Roster coordination: Oversee relief and travel/roster arrangements for the team.
* Purchasing management: Procure goods and services required for the rock tools contract.
* Lease and vehicle maintenance: Ensure all leases and vehicle maintenance are up-to-date and meet standards.
* Liaising with local service providers: Develop relationships with local businesses and community organizations.
* Direct report management: Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical knowledge to direct reports to ensure excellent service quality and customer satisfaction.
* Communication and reporting: Regularly liaise and communicate with key personnel at Sandvik and customer organizations, compiling and presenting detailed monthly reports and bi-annual contract review meetings.

To succeed in this role, you will need a formal university degree, such as a Bachelor of Business Management, and at least two years of experience in contract management or a related field. Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential, along with experience in procurement processes and EHS standards.

A high-performing team leader who can analyze data, manage multiple contracts, and implement effective solutions is desired. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are crucial for success in this position.
