Job Title: Construction Project Assistant
About the Position
We are seeking a diligent and resourceful intern to assist with construction project coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals studying or recently graduated in civil engineering to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake technical studies, including site investigations and feasibility assessments using computer software;
* Develop detailed designs and perform complex calculations;
* Liaise with clients and various professionals, including architects and subcontractors;
* Compile job specifications and supervise tendering procedures;
* Resolve design and development problems, manage budgets and resources, and schedule material deliveries;
Requirements
* Relevant degree qualification or recent graduation in civil engineering;
* Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken;
* Technical and soft skills necessary for the position;
* Commitment to a career in civil engineering;
* Availability to work at least 3 days per week;
