Bridge Engineer Role
We are seeking experienced Bridge Engineers to join our team in delivering inspections and structural assessments of road, rail, and pedestrian bridges across Australia’s east coast. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting field-based inspections and office-based reporting with regular travel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct bridge inspections and prepare comprehensive technical reports.
* Undertake thorough structural assessments and recommend maintenance or remediation actions based on industry standards.
* Develop and coordinate inspection programs, ensuring safety protocols and logistics are meticulously planned.
* Collect, manage, and analyze inspection data using asset management systems to inform business decisions.
* Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Requirements:
* A bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent) is essential.
* A minimum of 2-5+ years’ experience in bridge inspection, assessment, or structural engineering is required.
* Strong knowledge of Austroads, AS****, and relevant state transport authority standards is mandatory.
* Excellent reporting and communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
* A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively are essential.
* White Card and safety training (Confined Space, Working at Heights) are highly desirable.
