The Department of Transport and Planning is seeking an exceptional Executive Director to lead Road Safety Victoria. This pivotal role drives the delivery of Victoria’s Road Safety Strategy and Action Plans, shaping policy, partnerships, and programs that save lives and improve community outcomes. As a senior executive reporting to the Deputy Secretary, Network Design and Integration, you will lead a high-performing division, championing collaboration across government, portfolio agencies, and external stakeholders. Your ability to build trust, influence outcomes, and navigate complexity will be key to strengthening Victoria’s road safety capability. We’re looking for a resilient and adaptable leader who thrives in dynamic environments, can hold their own with Ministers and their offices, inspires teams, and brings clarity to challenging issues. You’ll be a strategic thinker with proven experience in executive leadership, stakeholder engagement, and delivering results in a complex policy and program landscape.
