About the Position
CSF Steel Fabricators, a division of CSF Industries, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team based in Townsville or Cairns. This is a key leadership role responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of projects in line with company strategy, commitments, and goals.
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple stakeholders while delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the full project lifecycle from planning to completion.
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with CSF policies, SWMS requirements, and ISO9001 quality standards.
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
* Overseeing site activities, construction programming, safety plans, site inductions, and quality assurance documentation.
* Managing budgets, forecasting, progress claims, variations, procurement, and reporting.
* Supporting business development activities.
* Attending site inspections, construction meetings, and safety meetings.
* Leading continual improvement initiatives.
* Visiting regional and remote sites as required.
About You
Essential Qualifications & Experience
* Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in the building and construction industry.
* Experience in steel fabrication and erection (highly regarded).
* Tertiary qualifications (preferred).
* Strong planning, organisational, and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* A proactive, flexible, team-focused approach.
* Strong understanding of project management principles, legislation, and industry best practice.
* Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate project documentation.
* Current C Class Driver's Licence.
* Reliable transport.
