About the Role
We're looking for professionals who can diagnose and repair hardware/software issues on Windows and macOS systems, resolve boot errors, OS issues, and login problems, set up or troubleshoot Wi-Fi and wired internet connections, replace or upgrade hardware, configure or connect printers and scanners, address common printer error codes, perform general maintenance on multifunction printers, reinstall operating systems using bootable USBs or recovery media, install remote tools or shortcuts as requested, communicate clearly with customers, and provide basic post-service support.
Key Responsibilities
* Hardware/software issue diagnosis and repair on Windows and macOS systems
* Boot error resolution, OS issue resolution, and login problem resolution
* Wi-Fi and wired internet connection setup and troubleshooting
* Hardware replacement and upgrade (HDD, RAM, cooling fans, etc.)
* Printer and scanner configuration and connectivity
* Common printer error code addressing (e.g., ink absorber, paper feed, connectivity)
* Multifunction printer maintenance
* Operating system reinstallation using bootable USBs or recovery media
* Remote tool installation and shortcut setup
* Customer communication and basic post-service support
Requirements
* 2+ years of field IT support experience, including computer and printer work
* Familiarity with Canon, HP, and other common printer brands
* Error code troubleshooting knowledge (e.g., Canon code 1700, boot issues, driver conflicts)
* Experience with both Windows (10/11) and macOS troubleshooting
* Personal tools (bootable USB, screwdriver set, etc.)
* Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
* Smartphone with camera and data for documentation and communication
* Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor
