About Baw Baw
Baw Baw Shire is one of Victoria's fastest-growing regions, with booming communities across Warragul, Drouin, and the Shire's broader greenfield corridors. Set against a backdrop of rolling hills, vibrant townships, and a strong sense of community, Baw Baw blends regional lifestyle with the pace and complexity of major urban growth.
As an organisation, Baw Baw is collaborative, community-focused, and evolving as a contemporary workplace. With around 400 staff and a culture built on flexibility, learning and development, the Shire supports its people through hybrid work, professional development pathways, wellbeing programs, and a genuinely supportive environment. Office accommodation promotes modern collaborative working.
The Shire's rapid population growth and recent extensive development pipeline create a unique opportunity for professional planners to contribute to shaping the future of an emerging regional city.
