About the role
As a Care Services Companion you will provide quality care to our residents, promote their independence and focus on creating a welcoming, calm atmosphere. We have a range of shifts on offer including mornings, afternoons and night shifts.
Who we work with
Advantaged Care has five aged care facilities:
* Georges Hall (near Bankstown)
* Prestons Lodge (near Liverpool)
* Edensor Gardens (near Fairfield)
* Barden Lodge (near Sutherland)
* Bondi Waters (near Bondi Beach)
Key responsibilities
* Provide high quality care to residents.
* Promote residents' independence and well‐being.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Support residents with daily living activities.
* Participate in shift handovers and team meetings.
Qualifications and experience
* Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent.
* At least six months aged‐care experience preferred.
* Good understanding of the eight new quality standards in aged care.
* Strong passion for quality aged‐care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Hard‐working, flexible with good availability to cover shifts.
* Strong values of empathy, honesty, respect and loyalty.
Other requirements
* Must be willing to provide a valid police check.
* Must undergo a pre‐employment medical assessment.
* Must be vaccinated for flu and COVID‐19 in accordance with government direction.
