With over 700 dedicated professionals across Brisbane and regional offices, we work tirelessly to ensure that Queensland's communities, businesses, and water resources thrive.The RoleYou will be a member of a team managing water entitlements and access to water from the Warwick centre and providing support and assistance to a larger team across the Queensland Murray Darling Basin catchments.
Key Duties and Accountabilities
• Respond to client enquiries (both verbally and in writing) on water entitlements, water access and water accounting using departmental information systems.
• Work as part of a team dealing with water entitlements and managing access to water, including new applications, amendments, transfers and water accounting.
• Apply policy and procedure to make decisions in accordance with a delegated authority under water related legislation.
• Monitor timelines for the assessment of applications to meet prescribed customer service standards.
• Maintain systems for registration of drill logs, water entitlements and recording of related dealings including works and water usage.
• Maintain document management systems in accordance with departmental requirements.
• Provide administrative support and assistance to the Warwick team including maintaining central email accounts, travel arrangements and building and vehicle management.
• Other duties as directed and required.
Role requirements
• There are no mandatory requirements for this role however, experience in the use of systems including Water Management System (WMS) and Queensland Globe would be highly regarded.
• Travel away from the centre may be required.
