Kinetic Logging Services (part of the Epiroc Group) is a leading OEM within the mining and drilling industry, delivering innovative equipment and solutions to support the resources sector. We are pleased to offer an exciting new opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor to join our national team responsible for 3 entities. This is afixed term 12 month role and will play a key part in supporting operational outcomes across our business.
As part of a collaborative and high-performing HR team, the HR Advisor will support operational leaders by delivering practical HR solutions, ensuring compliance, and contributing to a positive employee experience across the business.
About the Role:
In this role you The HR Advisor will work across a defined portfolio within our drilling and mining operations, supporting the employee lifecycle and providing timely and accurate HR advice.This hands-on generalist position is ideal for someone with a solid background in operational HR who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.You will contribute to process improvements; help implement HR initiatives and ensure consistency in people practices across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
·Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees on a range of matters including performance, policy, and procedure
·Assist in managing employee relations cases and conducting workplace investigations with guidance from senior HR team members
·Support recruitment processes, onboarding, and offboarding activities
·Maintain and update HR systems, records, and documentation
·Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and compliant with legislation
·Contribute to HR projects and initiatives across areas such as wellbeing, engagement, and training
·Assist with the interpretation of modern awards, enterprise agreements, and employment law requirements
·Generate reports and analyse HR data to support workforce planning and decision-making
Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Prior experience in a HR Advisor or HR Officer role, ideally within the industrial, mining, or manufacturing sectors
·Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices
·Confident supporting employee relations matters and performance processes
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
·Experience using Success factors HRIS systems and working with data and reports (desirable)
·Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience)
