Star Precision Electrical (SPE) is inviting Expressions of Interest from skilled and qualified Electricians & Dual-Trade HVAC Technicians/Electricians to support our major clients within the power and mining industries across Central Queensland.

Opportunities
We are seeking expressions of interest from Shutdown Workers (Qualified Electricians & Dual-Trade HVAC Technicians/Electricians) for upcoming shutdown periods, with potential opportunities for future shutdowns and/or ongoing work.
What We Offer
* DIDO Roles (within fatigue management guidelines)
* Work location - Central Queensland
* Variety of projects in the region
* Local work for CQ-based electricians where possible
Skills and Experience
To be considered, applicants should hold the following:
* QLD Electrical Licence
* Current LVR/CPR certification (within the last 12 months)
* Working at Heights & Confined Space certification, including Gas Test Atmospheres (within the last 2 years)
* Current Driver's Licence
* Current Coal Board Medical
* Current Standard 11
* Strong commitment to safety and a positive team mindset
Desirable
* Previous coal or metalliferous mine experience
* HV switching certification
* Instrumentation or controls experience
* CHPP or fixed-plant experience
* Shutdown or outage experience
* S1, S2, S3 (or current QLD equivalents)
