Queensland Childcare Services (QCCS) is seeking passionate educators to join Lowood Early Education Centre (EEC). We have openings for:
* Assistant Educator
* Lead Educator

Schedule: Monday – Friday, up to 38 hours per week (flexible options available)
Location: Lowood
Compensation: Up to $50/hr + super + 15% retention (based on qualification and role)
Assistant Educator
Provide high-quality care and education for children while supporting the room leader and contributing to a collaborative, engaging environment.
Your Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily routines and program implementation for children aged 0–5 years
* Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities
* Help maintain a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment
* Build positive relationships with children and families
* Work under the guidance of Lead Educators
Qualifications & Attributes:
* Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (minimum)
* Current Blue Card
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Passion for outdoor, nature-based education
Lead Educator
Lead Educators are responsible for guiding a room with creativity and confidence, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality educational programs.
Your Responsibilities:
* Lead curriculum planning and program delivery for children aged 0–5 years
* Mentor and support Assistant Educators
* Foster inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environments
* Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and centre standards
Qualifications & Attributes:
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education (minimum)
* Current Blue Card
* Leadership experience and strong curriculum knowledge
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Early Childhood Teacher
Your Responsibilities:
* Design and implement engaging, play-based learning programs aligned with the EYLF & QKLG.
* Prioritize a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children thrive.
* Engage in joyful, educational activities, inspiring a love for learning.
* Build strong relationships with families and fellow educators.
* Monitor, document and reflect on children’s learning to drive continuous improvement while ensuring compliance.
Qualifications:
* A proven track record or delivering exceptional results in a centre.
* Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or actively pursuing one.
* Current QLD Blue Card.
* Passion for promoting a healthy lifestyle and good nutrition for children.
