About the role
We are looking for an authentic HR leader who can manage operational demands while influencing culture and driving reform. Reporting to the COO and leading a skilled HR team, you will oversee enterprise bargaining, IR and ER, people systems, WHS and staff development. This role combines strategic impact with day-to-day leadership, working closely with staff based in Darwin, Alice Springs and Timor-Leste.
Key responsibilities
* Lead a capable HR team across generalist, WHS, payroll and L&D functions
* Provide expert advice on employment relations, legislation and policy
* Deliver people strategies aligned with Menzies' broader objectives
* Support and guide enterprise agreement negotiations
* Drive implementation of the People Plan and new HRIS
* Promote workplace safety and meet WHS obligations
* Lead change, build trust and strengthen internal relationships
About you

* $170,000 base salary plus up to 14% super
