Graduate Engineer - Contracts & Development

We are ideally looking for someone with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business, however individuals with practical or theoretical experience in other disciplines are also encouraged to apply for the role.
Your New Opportunity
Our new Contract administrator will be based in our Hunter Valley location and the successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of our existing Mining Maintenance contracts as well as taking the lead in generating life cycle cost models for new mechanical maintenance projects in power generation, mining and industrial industries. The candidate will also take the lead in deployment of the AMT (Asset Management Software) capability within our company. This a great opportunity for a graduate to step directly into a management position. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
* Understanding the agreement AMT software capabilities and their application to meet our business needs within Penske.
* Work with the AMT supplier to maximise capabilities of the software
* Production of reporting for existing Maintenance Contracts as well as calculating escalations, forecasts and plans.
* Calculating life cycle cost models for future projects and tender responses.
* Actively contributing to improvements in performance and cost management
* Developing component tracking, forecasting and planning capabilities of this software.
* Reporting on contract performance to suppliers, end user customers and internal management
About you
* You will have a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
* Experience in the use of AMT (isolutions or RPM software), highly desirable but not a requirement.
* An ability to communicate effectively and contribute by engaging with and influencing various levels of people within a large team environment.
* Financial and administration skills and the ability to meet deadlines
* A natural ability to work autonomously and as a team player.
