About the Role
There is an opportunity for a fixed term Nurse Unit Manager role in our Orthopaedic ward. We are a 37 bed acute surgical ward, caring for post operative Orthopaedic patients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the ward to achieve financial KPIs, labour, and efficiency targets.
Ensure excellence in patient care and a safe working environment.
Oversee incident reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
Uphold Calvary and Government Health policies, Code of Conduct, and industrial agreements.
What You Bring
AHPRA Registration and recent acute care/hospital experience.
Strong leadership, organisational, and management skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
