Chinese Speaking Technical Support Engineer Objective: A Technical Support Engineer in the solar renewable industry that will translate business requirements into accurate technical documentation, designing compliant technical solutions and leading quality assurance and issue resolution efforts. They will ensure seamless communication, high product quality, and continuous improvement of processes to maintain Redback’s competitive lead in the renewable industry. Key Responsibilities: Test the functions, performance, and safety standards of products such as inverters and batteries, with familiarity with relevant test design standards and specifications Reproduce faults that occur at the customer’s location or guide fault troubleshooting. If the issue cannot be resolved, clearly communicate the problem with test engineers or R&D engineers for analysis Develop and execute quality assurance and testing strategies to ensure that technical solutions are thoroughly tested and meet the necessary standards for quality and reliability, with preference given to candidates who can provide training to the after-sales customer service team Assist R&D engineers with environmental setup and testing support. Collaborate with relevant team members to understand and analyse requirements and then document for accurate communication to R&D team Work with R&D team to design technical solutions that meet business requirements. Identify and resolve technical issues that arise in production and development. This includes conducting root cause analysis and coordinating with relevant teams to implement effective solutions. Continuously evaluate and improve processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technical solutions and ensure that the organisation remains competitive in the market. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. At least 2 or 3 years of experience in product design, validation, and development or testing of inverters or other power electronic products. Strong testing, problem solving, and logical analysis skills. In-depth understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements for renewable energy. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Good communication and coordination skills. Strong sense of responsibility and motivation.
