Key Responsibilities
* Plan and lead community and stakeholder engagement activities across a diverse range of infrastructure projects.
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with impacted communities, stakeholders and internal project teams.
* Respond to community enquiries and complaints, escalating sensitive or complex matters.
* Support the preparation and implementation of Community and Stakeholder Engagement Plans and related documentation.
* Prepare written communications, notifications, reports, and stakeholder correspondence.
* Coordinate community engagement activities and events, including logistics and materials.
* Contribute to lessons learnt and continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful applicant will ideally have
* Qualification in Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
* 2+ years' relevant experience in community relations, community engagement, communications, or a related role.
* Experience supporting community engagement activities in construction, infrastructure, utilities or regulated environments (desirable).
* Well-developed communications skills, both verbal and written.
* Experience in complaints and community enquiries handling.
* Adaptable and able to manage competing priorities in a project environment.
* Positive work approach with a willingness to learn, contribute proactively, collaborate as a team player, and maintain motivation in dynamic project settings.
* A willingness to travel throughout Queensland and occasionally work outside of business hours to meet project and stakeholder requirements.
