Hospitality Assistant (Casual) – Sydney, NSW
Dedicated to delivering premium front‐of‐house hospitality across reception, boardrooms, café and corporate events on a busy client floor. You will be the face of the firm, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a polished, professional and welcoming environment.
Casual weekday role (no weekends) with flexibility to support a high‐end corporate setting. Shifts are rostered Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 6:30 pm, with occasional evening events.
Responsibilities
* Providing exceptional food and beverage service
* Setting up and packing down conference and meeting rooms
* Answering calls to reception and managing meeting room bookings
* Assisting with café service, including coffee making
* Managing point of sale transactions and electronic cash handling
* Providing back‐of‐house and kitchen overflow assistance as needed
Qualifications
* Sound knowledge of reception / hospitality and front‐of‐house operations, ideally with experience in corporate hospitality, hotel or fine dining environments
* Solid food and beverage service experience – wine knowledge an advantage
* Barista skills
* Impressive phone manner and effective communication at all levels
* A flexible, team‐player mindset – willing to jump in and assist wherever needed
* Impeccable grooming
* Certified in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
* Computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office software highly regarded
