As an Anaesthetic Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
o Delivering evidence-based nursing care
o Liaising with the multidisciplinary team
o Ensuring patient and staff safety
o Supervising, directing, and guiding nursing team members, graduates, and students
o Providing education and support to patients for their surgery and recovery

Peninsula Private is a 50-bed acute and rehabilitation hospital on the Redcliffe Peninsula, featuring 2 operating theatres and 1 procedure room. Our specialties include orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, and internal medicine, along with leading rehabilitation services.
We are expanding with a redevelopment project to increase to 4 theatres, 2 procedure rooms, and a new CSSD department, expected to be completed by end July 2025, doubling our current capacity by December 2025.

Remuneration: Successful applicants will be remunerated based on the current nursing Enterprise Agreement, the "Healthscope-Queensland-Nurses Enterprise Agreement" (salaries range from $41.49/hr to $52.97/hr for Registered Nurses).
Additional Information: Our commitment to safety and quality includes requiring a current National Police check, WWCC (if applicable), and proof of right to work in Australia prior to employment. Staff in patient contact roles must provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
