The role
The Family Concierge Manager provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Family Concierge service, ensuring a consistently high standard of welcome and support for admitted patients and their families across hospital wards. This role is accountable for developing and refining service delivery models that connect families with Children's Hospital Foundation programs, hospital resources, and practical assistance designed to enhance the overall healthcare experience.
Working in close partnership with hospital teams and the wider Impact Programs portfolio, the Family Concierge Manager drives program integration, quality improvement, and innovation to maximise positive outcomes for patients and families. The role also plays a pivotal part in identifying and nurturing family stories that can support the Foundation's fundraising, marketing, and brand awareness objectives, ensuring these opportunities are aligned with organisational priorities and handled with sensitivity and care.
This is a permanent full-time position, based at Queensland Children's Hospital.

Key criteria
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:
* Tertiary or vocational qualification in role related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education.
* Certification or accreditation in professional boundaries is advantageous.
* At least 3 years' experience delivering programs or services in the healthcare or family service community, including completion of relevant documentation and reporting.
* Experience in providing 1:1 wellbeing care and assistance to children and caregivers.
* Excellent customer service and people skills with a strong ability to converse with a wide variety of people from diverse backgrounds in an empathetic and sensitive style.
It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases:
* Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
* Varicella (Chicken Pox)
* Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
