What you will be doing
* Precision machining of components using lathes, mills, drills, and other workshop machinery
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications
* Carrying out fitting, assembly, and repair of mechanical parts and equipment
* Measuring and checking completed components against tolerances using micrometers, verniers, and gauges
* Assisting with fabrication and welding tasks as required
* Routine maintenance and set-up of workshop machinery and tools
* Maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment
What you will need
* Trade qualification as a Fitter Machinist (or equivalent)
* Strong workshop-based machining experience
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Welding and fabrication skills highly regarded
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
