Engineering Excellence
We are seeking a skilled Mining Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to maximise operational productivity and utilisation of equipment in schedules.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, to maximise operational productivity and utilisation of equipment in schedules.
* Preparation and communication of site physicals for annual budget and monthly forecast processes.
* Provide detailed rolling medium term forecasts and budgets for the operation.
* Communicate effectively with technical services, CHPP, maintenance and mine operations personnel in relation to deliverables for mid/long term schedules which would include; physical quantities, resource and utilisation requirements to deliver schedules and long term mine plans.
* Assist and mentor other members of the technical services team as required, e.g. design, EOM process, and short term engineering challenges.
* Ensure designs/schedules are compliant with the site SHMS, relevant statutory requirements, and legislation.
* Actively report hazards and incidents.
* Participate in safety investigations as required.
* Always act in a safe manner.
