Description 12-month fixed term opportunity, based in Sydney Contribute to the compliance assessment and breach reporting process across Westpac Work alongside subject matter experts, ensuring you receive the guidance and support needed to grow and excel in your career Create your best future and join Westpac as a Manager, Compliance Incidents. What’s the role? This 12-month fixed term role, based in Sydney, involves supporting the Executive Manager, Compliance Incidents, to assess compliance, determine breaches, and monitor the status of assessments. Your expertise will be vital in preparing breach reports for incidents deemed reportable, applying a comprehensive understanding of statutory and industry regimes. Additionally, you'll provide insights and oversight to Divisional Compliance teams and relevant business units. This role would suit someone that has high attention to deal with a natural curiosity to dig deeper as there is a lot of investigative work in this role. What do I need? Experience in compliance, operational risk, assurance, legal, remediation, customer complaints or case management. A strong and current understanding of consumer/retail and/or business banking products and associated compliance requirements is ideal but not essential. High level of clear, concise communication via email as well as face to face as you’ll be working with multiple stakeholders across the business. Ability to think strategically whilst staying across the detail. Excellent analytical skills. Why join us?
