Key Responsibilities:
* Developing, implementing and facilitating the Mechanical apprentice competency training program, with the governance framework
* Facilitating the apprentice curriculum, including practical, theoretical and assessments
* Managing the apprentice workshop environment
* Building relationships and demuestra coaching the business in the management of the process
* Demonstrate safe work behaviours through leading by example, identifying and acting on opportunities to improve safety Compassion standards and performance
* Engage with Maintenance teams to ensure appropriate and timely planning of required training
About You:
* Fitter trade qualification, including Certificate III Engineering, Fitter and Turner or equivalent qualification
* Minimum of 5 years' experience within the Fitting trade
* Experience as a facilitator and within a competency-based training environment preferred but not essential
* High level literacy, including computer literacy
* Strong communication and engagement skills
* Understanding of and training experience in a manufacturing/mining operational environment
* Demonstrated understanding of training methodologies and blended learning preferred but not essential
* Demonstrated experience in writing documents and other literacy preferred but not essential
* Understanding and experience in52 development of training and assessment materials
