We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our community-based mental health care setting. As a Mental Health Clinician, you will provide focussed psychological strategies tailored to meet the individual needs of young people and families.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-standard assessments, psychological, counselling and therapeutic interventions. This will include opportunities to run group programs, liaising and working with internal and external stakeholders.
* Assessing the needs of young people and developing tailored intervention plans.
* Providing psychological, counselling and therapeutic interventions in a community-based setting.
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.

Requirements
* AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, or AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
* Extensive experience providing clinical services to young people (12-25 years).
* Well-developed judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding of assessment and care planning.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills showing an ability and sensitivity to work with people who have or are at risk of developing a mental illness.
* Proven ability to work creatively, collaboratively and effectively as a member of a team.
* Demonstrated skills in organisation and time-management, including the ability to work under pressure and balance multiple tasks.
* Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
* Eligibility to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
