The Venue & Role:
Tourism Adventure Group are looking for an energetic hospitality professional to be the next Duty Manager at KB's Noosa.
KB's Noosa is a Noosa institution. By far the best bar for a good time for students, backpackers, holiday-makers and locals alike. This is an amazing opportunity to manage a team at a venue that is excitingly positioned for even further growth.
Reporting to the Venue Manager, your proven ability to maximise profitability and take a hands-on approach to delivering the highest standards across all operational aspects of the venue is paramount – as are your creative ideas and the hunger to apply them within a dynamic hospitality group that prides itself on creative energy & unique offerings.
This role will include elements from all areas of food and beverage operations and will only be limited by your enthusiasm and work ethic. Main areas of focus will be on:
* providing an outstanding, entertaining and exciting venue for our patrons
* monitoring and adjusting entertainment and products
* revenue growth through capitalising on our existing extensive network
* working closely with the accommodation side of the business to maximise revenue
Applicants must be able to show they meet our requirements -
* Managers must have a solid F&B skill set and a proven history of working in busy bars;
* Previous management history is not mandatory, but a willingness to step up is;
* A willingness to step in wherever is required during a shift - entertainment, in the kitchen, cleaning and the rest;
* Managers must hold a current responsible service of alcohol certificate;
You will need:
* Experience in busy bar/nightclub settings
* Knowledge of social media networks and a willingness to contribute and create content
* Creative flare to marketing, events and promotional aspects
* Minimum intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products including Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Google Drive
* Understanding of POS software
* A sound knowledge of food & beverage trends
* Consistently motivated & outgoing
* Self-starter ability with initiative and follow-through capabilities
* Drive to actively chase revenue whilst managing costs
* Ability to work well under pressure
* A hands on work ethic managing day to day trade
