We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead to drive the end-to-end technical delivery of a major digital transformation initiative within a federal government agency.
About the Role
This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring high-quality, standards-compliant development across a complex, agile environment.
As Senior Technical Lead, you will provide technical leadership and oversight across multiple Agile Development Teams (ADTs) and collaborate with systems and IT teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and standards.
* Define and implement code review frameworks and development standards.
* Act as an escalation point for technical risks, dependencies, and issues.
* Promote consistency through common component design and reuse.
* Foster a Developer Community of Practice to drive innovation and knowledge sharing.
Key Responsibilities

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Strong understanding of enterprise ICT environments including cloud, networking, security, and integration.
* Proven experience delivering technical capabilities using Agile methodologies (SAFe, PRINCE2, or hybrid).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical data and reports.
* Demonstrated resilience and adaptability in managing competing priorities and evolving requirements.
* High personal integrity and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes in a collaborative team environment.
* Experience in government or regulated ICT environments.
* Familiarity with Australian Government security standards (e.g., ISM, IRAP).
* Exposure to enterprise architecture and scalable solution design.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., SAFe, ITIL, PMP, AWS, Azure).
