Offer description

To administer the clerical functions and allocation of labour that relates to the Operations department.

Functions and Responsibilities
* To be responsible for the daily diary of removal activities, to ensure that each job is allocated and all clients are fully communicated.
* To ensure that all bookings are recorded in AMOS/ Manual diaries and also on the Operational whiteboard.
* Ensure that the following day's work is scheduled and all clients are communicated to by 12.00pm.
* To ensure exit calls are made for removals taking place on the day
* Ensure drivers run sheets & labels are completed and distributed and all drivers are fully briefed on their day's activities.
* To allocate containers as and when required.
* Allocate labour, storage, vehicles and handling aids on a daily basis to meet department requirements.
* To take telephone bookings from External Sales Consultants and the Sales Centre as and when required.
* Assist in controlling manpower within the depot and continue to gain maximum productivity and utilisation of resources.
* Advise the Customer Experience and Corporate Account sales teams when the volume changes after uplift, ensuring that the amended volume includes packing details.
* Refer all accidents, both property and persons, to the Operations Manager immediately they occur.
* To attend operations meetings when required.
* To take part in the Together in Quality programming by completing Quality improvement forms as necessary and participating in the Quality Action Team from time to time.
* To perform any other duties that may be requested by the Operations Manager
