We are seeking two Professional Practice Pharmacists to join our CPD and Practice Support Teams.
Both contracts are fixed-term: one until January ****, the other up to six months with possible extension.
The roles will be responsible for developing and reviewing practical, evidence-based education content and practice support for pharmacists and related audiences.
About the role
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and/or review content to meet product brief and PSA management processes, ensuring it is evidence-based, accurate, up-to-date, balanced and objective.
Contribute to the publication process from commissioning authors through to reporting and evaluation.
Perform editorial tasks such as researching, evaluating, writing, editing information, and maintaining consistency of style, scope and structure.
Ensure PSA content is published in accordance with legal, regulatory and ethical standards, internal policies and processes (e.g., PSA Style Guide for Technical Writing), project timelines and other requirements.
Undertake thorough and critical clinical review of content prepared by others.
Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts and external stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose content on time, on budget and to quality expectations.
Accredit internal and external content according to internal processes against Australian Pharmacy Council standards.
About you
Registered pharmacist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and current or recent experience in clinical pharmacy practice in any setting.
Demonstrable experience as a medical or technical writer/reviewer for health professionals, with accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong oral and written communication, able to present information clearly and concisely.
Ability to interpret health-related information from reliable sources and produce readable content.
Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
Sound customer-service orientation and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills to handle a complex workload and competing priorities within specified timelines.
Competency in Microsoft Office and online reference texts.
Motivated, proactive and able to work independently or as part of a local or national team.
Professional courtesy, tact, discretion, respect for confidentiality and ethical conduct at all times.
Desirable
Knowledge of contemporary pharmacy practice and workforce development at national and international levels.
Experience in developing guidelines, education and assessment for health professionals.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
