Originating in the real estate sector it has now evolved into a diversified business with interests across all aspects of real estate, property development, residential and commercial construction, private funding and capital, cloud software and technology and private investments across other brands and sectors.
Our building partner, Pacific Constructions, is a leading construction company successfully delivering projects across the greater Melbourne area. Pacific Constructions was established in 2006 and since then, has undertaken several different projects including multi-unit developments, townhouses, community centre constructions, infrastructure and irrigation works and landscaping.
**The Role**
**Responsibilities**
- AR & AP Processing for construction entities.
- General Ledger and Bank Account Reconciliation
- Preparation and upload of Payment Runs
- Business partnering with construction managers to ensure cost control.
- Support with month end and balance sheet processes
- Assistance with Management and Financial Reporting
- Ad-hoc work as requested by the Senior Management Accountant and Financial Controller
**About You**
- Professional membership desirable but not essential.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Building and construction experience desirable but not essential.
- Highly organised, efficient and have an eye for detail
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Driven, dynamic and ambitious with a hands-on work ethic
- Personality that thrives on collaboration and teamwork
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Previous bookkeeping experience with MYOB/Xero/QuickBooks desirable but not essential.
**Remuneration**
- Base salary - $55,000 to $60,000 plus superannuation (salary dependent on skillset and experience)
