Vorstrom Vacuum Equipment builds a wide variety of Liquid, Commercial, and Industrial vacuum tankers from 1200lt to 24000lt units for the commercial and mining industries and due to current growth is now currently seeking fitters with good knowledge of trucks and their systems, Located at our manufacturing workshop in Warwick QLD, the successful person will be required to carry out a range of mixed fitting related tasks on new and used heavy vehicles, semi-trailers and related equipment.
Reporting to the area supervisor the successful person is expected to engage in a range of tasks that may include;
- Fitting new painted parts to a wide range of body trucks and semi tipping trailers
- Marking out and drilling chassis to mount subframe
- Installing oil tanks, mud guards, hose trays, toolboxes
- working with Hydraulic and electrical tradesman's
**You Will Need**:
- Have sound knowledge of heavy vehicles and/or plant equipment,
- Have the ability to learn correct procedures & processes,
- Good working knowledge of OS&H; and Environmental practices
- Ability to work as part of a team or on their own
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
