o AHP1 $73,710 - $89,981
o AHP2 $94,997 - $110,052
* Ongoing, Full Time

Appointment to this position will be at either AHP1 or AHP2 classification, commensurate with the applicant’s level of professional experience, demonstrated competence, and capacity to perform with increasing independence, clinical judgement, and complexity of practice as outlined in the role requirements.

WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Mental Health Team within Mount Barker Hospital. In this role you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health services within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining core clinical skills, knowledge of support services, and collaborative networks to support holistic consumer care while continually building your skills, networks, and professional practice.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

You will……….

* Delivers comprehensive, evidence-based occupational therapy mental health care, applying contemporary practice and local service knowledge to support consumers, carers, and the broader multidisciplinary team.
* Manage a complex and varied caseload with increasing autonomy, applying clinical judgement and evidence-based practice to assessment, intervention, health promotion and early intervention activities.
* Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and with external partners to provide coordinated, culturally safe care, particularly for rural, Aboriginal and diverse communities.
* Contribute to clinical leadership, supervision and workforce development by supporting junior staff, allied health assistants and students, while actively engaging in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
* Support service quality and sustainability through effective documentation, data reporting, and participation in continuous improvement activities.
