Job Overview
This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible extension. We cater for the needs of students in distance education by working hard to tailor our programs to their individual developmental needs.
Our School
We pride ourselves on our family and community connections made strong through home visits, camps seminars and individual consultation. Our school enables distance education students in the Pilbara to have peer and teacher contact on a regular basis.
The Role
* A strong knowledge of explicit instruction is required with a willingness to apply it appropriately in a remote learning environment.
* Applicants should reference their high-quality instructional skills, use of student engagement strategies and evidence how these have impacted student achievement.
A current driver's license is required, with overnight trips to remote cattle stations in the Pilbara being part of this role. Strong Information Technology skills are also essential for delivering high quality lessons using online delivery modes such as Zoom and Seesaw.
