About Our Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, we are looking for mechanical fitters across a variety of shifts. You will be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance across the site, including the servicing and repair of bulk storage, production, processing, blow molding and packaging areas, covering the entire manufacturing process and all main facilities associated with a major dairy manufacturing site.

Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical work to ensure all plant remains in good working order.
- Maintain mechanical maintenance functions including breakdown, preventative and project works efficiently while maintaining a safe and hygienic working workplace.
- Complete all work in line with food safety requirements.
- Participate in the Preventative Maintenance program to achieve world‑class machine and line efficiency.
- Investigate failures and recommend improvements to reduce risk of occurrence.
- Work unsupervised on shift and make decisions to promote efficiency.
- Complete all documentation to meet compliance and operational standards.
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant tertiary level qualification; minimum trade certificate as a Mechanical Fitter.
- Experience in troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
- Knowledge of GMP within the FMCG field.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office (desirable).
