About the role
Dental South Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our growing practice in Margate, Tasmania. This is a full-time position, with opportunities for career progression within our dynamic team. As the face of our practice, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for our patients.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and welcoming patients with a friendly and professional manner
* Scheduling appointments and managing the practice's calendar
* Handling patient inquiries and providing excellent customer service
* Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic files
* Assisting with insurance claims and patient billing
* Ordering and managing practice supplies
* Providing administrative support to the dental team as required
What we're looking for
* Previous experience with making outbound calls
* Minimum 6 months experience in call centre work or similar outbound calling role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Sales experience
* Minimum 6 months experience in dental reception or healthcare administration
* Proficiency in using dental practice management software and electronic record keeping
* Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
* A friendly, professional and reliable attitude with a keen eye for detail
* Team player
