Key Responsibilities
* Local Area Knowledge
* Identify and target key accounts locally.
* Network and promote our presence at community meetings, tourism events, and local business associations.
* Stay informed of local activities and developments to identify opportunities.
* Contribute to the Business Plan development.
* Monitor property performance against budget, occupancy levels, and room rates.
* Conduct market and competitor analyses to align property positioning.
* Develop and update Sales Activity and Promotional Plans.
* Plan and schedule sales activities for key accounts.
* Prepare and deliver effective presentations.
* Schedule and conduct sales calls and face-to-face meetings with key accounts.
* Build and maintain relationships with account representatives.
* Gather and share market intelligence.
* Sales Activity Reporting
* Review reservation activity reports to identify and action leads.
* Analyze company stay reports and monitor trends for future sales planning.
* Maintain and manage the Property Sales System database.
Marketing
* Develop advertising and promotional ideas for the property.
* Establish and nurture relationships with relevant organizations to enhance the brand.
* Prepare marketing materials using approved corporate collateral.
Other Duties
* Collaborate with the Corporate Office and Hospitality team to enhance sales activities.
* Undertake additional duties as directed by the General Manager.
Qualifications
* Educational qualification in Real Estate with an understanding of the Perth hospitality/service apartment market.
* 5+ years of service apartment leasing experience in a similar role.
* Proven ability to increase revenue and meet leasing quotas.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
* Strong organizational, time management, and administration skills.
* High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
