We're looking for a skilled and values-driven Team Leader to help shape and deliver our Lived Experience Advisory Program. In this pivotal role, you lead the programto ensure lived experience in homelessness and domestic, family and sexual violence informs policy, program design, and practice through advocacy work.
* Location: Larrakia Land - Darwin | office & remote
* Contract: Full-Time | Ongoing
* Salary: $55.72 to $58.19 an hour + Super

About the role
We are looking for a Team Leader, Lived Experience Advisory Program (LEAP), to lead the growth and delivery of LEAP and the Amplifying Voices Program, ensuring the voices of people with lived experience of Homelessness and Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) shape policy, programs, and practice through meaningful engagement and advocacy.
In this role you will:
* Lead the design and delivery of trauma-aware, strengths-based, and culturally safe programs that elevate lived experience voices in homelessness and DFSV.
* Build strong partnerships with government, community, and sector stakeholders to support advocacy and impact.
* Oversee sub-contractors, partners and program components, including culturally specific initiatives and evaluations.
* Promote LEAP and the Amplifying Voices Program, and support ethical, participant-led advocacy, while ensuring compliance, reporting, and budget management.
About You
Our ideal candidate will have:
* Relevant qualifications and sector experiencein social work, community development, health promotion, or related fields (postgraduate desirable).
* A strong background in lived experience advocacy and program management.
* Proven ability to build trusted relationshipswith diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, CALD groups, and senior stakeholders.
* Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, co-design principles, and the ethical foundations of lived experience advisory bodies.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce complex documentation and facilitate inclusive, accessible engagement.
