About the Role
Our client is a highly regarded investment banking and capital markets firm with a global presence and long-standing reputation in equity research. We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Equity Research Analyst to join their Real Estate sector team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in producing comprehensive coverage of listed real estate investment trusts (REITS), with an emphasis on financial performance, market trends, and strong industry analysis and idea generation. You will be responsible for company analysis, building and maintaining financial models, preparing detailed valuation work, and forming and articulating high-conviction investment views for our clients institutional client base.
This role would suit candidates with a minimum of 7 years' experience, ideally coming from equities research, investment banking or from industry with strong financial modelling and valuation skills, and a keen interest in the property sector.
Candidates who have a combination of the following skillsets are encouraged to apply:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business (Commerce/Accounting/Finance)
- Accounting or investment qualifications such as CA or CFA are highly regarded
- Solid understanding of financial accounting, valuation methodologies, and investment analysis
- Experience in equity research, real estate investment, asset management, or investment banking
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues, management teams, and clients at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship management, and time management skills
