SIMPEC is currently seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrument EEHA Technician to join our maintenance works team on a Kwinana based project. Maintenance experience is preferred but not essential. The role offers a Lifestyle Roster combination of both day and night shift on a casual contract:
Rate: $80 ph casual flat rate + $2.50 ph worked Project incentive payment paid at completion of project

About the Role:
Responsible for maintenance works onsite including:
Overseeing and implement improvements, carrying out system upgrades, develop Scopes of work.
Supervise 3rd party contractors carrying out system upgrades and plant shutdowns
PLC investigations and repairs
Carry out Electrical Isolations and prepare PTW
Perform calibration and fault diagnostics of electrical and instrumentation such as transmitters, analysers, switches
Understanding P&ID's panel drawings, single line diagrams and loop sheets
Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical safety standards & regulations
**Essential Qualifications/Tickets**
**WA Electrical Licence**
Certificate IV Instrumentation
Certificate IV in Hazardous Areas (within 2 years)
Current Provide First Aid Certificate
Current LVR/CPR Certificate
Current WA Drivers Licence
Construction Card
Working & Heights Certificate (within 2 years)
**Skills & Experience**
Ability to work in a team with strong communication skills
Previous maintenance experience will be highly regarded
Previous exposure to Hazardous areas related work
Commitment to safe work practices
Ability to follow procedures and processes and compile reports
