Overview
The School of Engineering is recognised internationally for its excellent quality of education and research, underpinned by highly committed and supportive academics and outstanding infrastructure and facilities. We are seeking a Post Doctoral Research Fellow with expertise in cutting edge technologies in electronics and a strong passion for developing space payloads and collaborating on space projects with external partners, including space agencies. This position is part of a team led by Professor Paulo de Souza.
We are looking for candidates with a background in Electrical Engineering focusing on electronics and instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in micro-electronics design, including multilayer PCB, FPGA programming, embedded systems, and preferably ASIC-design. Knowledge in Systems Engineering, particularly in Space and Defence is highly regarded.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University's values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry Personal Excellence and Courage.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time, fixed term position attracts remuneration of $113,918 to $134,596 plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
