We are seeking an experienced and driven Store Manager to lead our IGA supermarket in the Launceston area. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on retail leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving strong store performance.
About the Role
As Store Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the store, leading your team to achieve sales, profitability, and operational targets while maintaining high store standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all aspects of store operations
* Lead, train and develop team members
* Drive sales growth and achieve KPI targets
* Manage stock control, ordering and shrinkage
* Maintain strong merchandising and presentation standards
* Oversee rostering and wage cost control
* Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health & safety regulations
* Deliver outstanding customer service and community engagement
About You
* Proven experience in supermarket or retail management (IGA experience highly regarded)
* Strong leadership and team-building skills
* Sound knowledge of retail KPIs, margins and stock management
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Hands-on approach with a strong work ethic
