PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Head of Marketing and Digital is responsible for leading brand, marketing, and digital performance across dual brands. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role owns brand identity, storytelling, customer growth, and commercial marketing outcomes. The position requires both strategic leadership and hands on execution across brand, e-commerce, paid media, CRM, and content, while managing internal stakeholders and developing a high-performing marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES BRAND STRATEGY & IDENTITY

• Own and evolve brand identity, positioning, and visual/verbal guidelines across two brands.

• Clearly communicate brand direction internally and externally

• Establish and maintain brand pillars and ensure campaigns, content, and products execute against these pillars.

• Ensure all creative and messaging consistently meet agreed brand standards and tone of voice. STORYTELLING, CONTENT & CREATIVE DIRECTION

• Extract and develop design, product, and graphic stories that resonate with the target customer.

• Lead the creation of compelling narratives that differentiate hero / growth products from core or continuity ranges.

• Ensure the right stories are delivered through the right channels including:
o Social media
o eDM / CRM
o Website & e-commerce
o Community activations & events
o Brand ambassadors & partnerships

• Oversee content calendars and campaign timelines

GO-TO-MARKET PLANNING & DEPARTMENT ORGANISATION

• Develop and manage the Go-To-Market (GTM) calendar across two brands.

• Organise marketing timelines, launches, and seasonal campaigns

• Align marketing deliverables with product drops, retail initiatives, and operational schedules.

DIGITAL & E-COMMERCE PERFORMANCE

• Oversee website UX, conversion optimisation, and merchandising performance.

• Maintain strong knowledge of e-commerce KPIs including conversion rate, AOV, LTV, traffic quality, and funnel performance.

• Drive continual optimisation of online performance through data-led decision making.

CRM, DATA & EDM MARKETING

• Build and execute strategies to grow and manage the customer database, including segmentation and lifecycle planning.

• Own eDM flows, automation journeys, and campaign performance.

• Use customer insights and segmentation to increase retention, engagement, and revenue.

PAID MEDIA & ROI MANAGEMENT

• Plan, execute, and optimise paid marketing strategies across relevant channels.

• Demonstrate clear understanding of ROI, ROAS, CAC, and attribution models.

• Manage budgets effectively to maximise commercial return.

STAKEHOLDER & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT

• Partner with Product, Retail, Design, and Operations teams to achieve the best commercial and brand outcomes.

• Translate brand and marketing priorities into actionable plans for other departments.

• Act as the key marketing voice in leadership discussions.

LEADERSHIP & TEAM MANAGEMENT

• Lead and mentor the marketing team through:
o Regular one-on-ones
o Performance reviews
o Goal setting and development plans
o Performance management where required

BUDGETING & EXECUTIVE REPORTING

• Develop and manage the marketing budget in partnership with the Finance team.

• Deliver regular performance reports, insights, and strategic recommendations directly to the CEO.
• Ensure marketing investment aligns with commercial goals and brand growth priorities.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

• Ensure continued development of personal knowledge and skills through personal development, company provided programs, and on-the-job experience.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proven senior-level Head of Marketing management experience in brand and digital marketing leadership. Retail experience highly favourable.

• Strong capability in brand storytelling, campaign strategy, and creative direction.

• Deep understanding of e-commerce, CRM, and paid media performance metrics.

• Experience managing multi-brand or multi-audience environments.

• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage performance.

• Commercially minded with strong analytical capability
