A prominent Federal Government Department is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a major transformation program supporting enterprise and registry initiatives. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to complex, high-visibility projects delivering strategic digital and business outcomes. The successful Business Analyst will work closely with business SMEs and IT teams to analyse, design and deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring business requirements are clearly articulated and aligned to strategic priorities. The role offers an initial 12‐month contract with a 12‐month extension and flexible hybrid working arrangements based in VIC or NSW.

Responsibilities
* Facilitating workshops and engaging stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document business requirements.
* Producing high‐quality business, functional and non‐functional requirements documentation, including Agile user stories where appropriate.
* Developing as‐is and to‐be process maps to support transformation and system implementation activities.
* Supporting testing, UAT preparation, system implementation, and development of user manuals and training materials.
Qualifications
* Proven experience delivering business analysis services within complex ICT or digital transformation environments.
* Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, requirements elicitation, process modelling and documentation.
* Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks and cross‐functional teams.
* Eligibility to obtain Baseline security clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
