About the role
We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Drafts Person to join our dynamic team at Shed Tek Pty Ltd in Pakenham, Victoria. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and designs to support the company's engineering projects.
What you'll be doing
- Interpreting engineering specifications and requirements to produce accurate technical drawings and designs
- Utilising CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of structures, components, and systems
- Collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements
- Maintaining and updating engineering documentation and drawings
- Assisting with the implementation of design changes and revisions
- Providing support to the wider engineering team as required
What we're looking for
- Relevant qualification in engineering drafting or a related field
- Minimum Certificate IV qualification in engineering drafting or related field
- Experience using CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Strong technical drawing and design skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- A passion for engineering and a desire to contribute to the success of the company
- Must have Australian work rights for this position
