About the role and team

As Operations Manager, you'll lead a team of dedicated security professionals safeguarding a critical energy operation in Karratha, Western Australia. Your team provides comprehensive security services, including asset protection, access control, patrols, emergency response, and more. You are a strong communicator with excellent client and stakeholder management capability, confidently building strong relationships with both regional contacts in the Burrup along with Perth and interstate based internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the Contract Lead, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the management, safety and security of the Karratha sites. Ensuring adherence to Standard Operation Procedures, Human Resources and Health and Safety requirements. This position manages the day‑to‑day operational and reporting functions and is responsible for the achievement of operational and financial objectives, including ensuring excellent customer service.


Key accountabilities

* Setting and management of rosters
* Ensuring all shifts are filled with appropriate staff
* Coordinating resources for relief shifts or ad hoc requirements
* Developing and implementing effective and efficient Security Solutions to meet our customers' needs and defined service scope
* Conducting regular meetings with site managers and supervisors to review performance
* Ensuring compliance to processes and procedures through regular site visits and review of operations
* Developing and leading strong and effective relationships with customers


What we're looking for

* Proven leadership experience running a medium to large sized operation in Security or a related field
* Prior operational experience in a multi‑location environment with demonstrated ability to drive efficient operations
* Developing operational solutions aligned to customer needs and defined service scope
* Valid Security Licence


Certificate III – Security operations

We value transferable skills and experience. If you have a proven track record in managing complex operations, we offer training and development opportunities to help you obtain the necessary security certifications.
