About the role
This is a functional testing contract at the centre of a UKG workforce management and payroll implementation. You will work closely with the testing lead and programme team, building the test plan, coordinating UAT with business teams, and validating payroll outputs end-to-end. The programme is in early stage now, with test execution ramping from approximately September. People joining now get to shape how this gets done.
Duties / Key Responsibilities
* Design and execute functional test cases across UKG workforce management and payroll processes
* Build and maintain the test plan and test schedule in line with programme milestones
* Run and reconcile parallel payroll processes and validate outputs against expected resultsCoordinate and facilitate UAT with business stakeholders across a large employee base
* Manage defect logging, triage and retesting through the full defect lifecycle

Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated UKG, UKG Pro or Kronos testing experience in a payroll or workforce management context
* Hands‐on parallel payroll run experience
* Strong functional testing background across the full test lifecycle
* Experience coordinating UAT with non-technical business users
* Minimum 5 years in software testing across large or complex programmes
* Solid defect management and test reporting capability
* Comfortable operating across programmes with significant interdependencies
* SAP ECP, SuccessFactors or HCM background advantageous
* Automation tooling exposure in a payroll context highly regarded
