Who we're looking for
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and motivated Senior Accountant to within our dedicated agribusiness team. You will be providing tailored financial solutions to the agribusiness sector, empowering farmers, producers, and agricultural enterprises to achieve sustainable growth.
About the role
As an experienced member of our team, your job will involve:
* Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSF's
* Preparation of payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statements
* Working as part of a team where you will work closely with other intermediate and senior business services accountants
* Use Of Xero
* Liaising with clients and other external service providers
* Develop your knowledge with U Learn, the Forvis Mazars individualized learning platform
About you
The qualities and qualifications we're looking for include:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in Business Services within an Australian accounting firm.
* Completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree (or equivalent).
* Completion of CA or CPA qualification.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience in delegating and reviewing junior team member's work.
* Willingness to lead and learn.
* Previous experience working with agribusiness clients is preferred but not essential.
* Excellent English and Korean speaking & writing skills are essential
* Demonstrated administrative experience, preferably in a public practice environment
* Experience with Xero Practice Manager preferred
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work
* Flexibility to perform different and varied tasks
* The ability to work under pressure and effectively manage time and prioritisation of tasks
* Motivated to work as part of a team in addition to completing individual regular tasks
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult with peers.
* Extensive experience with Microsoft Suite.
