Tell me about this role
We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Product Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This role will see you perform complex planning, governance and achievement of Air Combat business, project and product objectives/milestones. This role is based at Amberley and is a full-time ongoing permanent position.
What will I be doing day to day?
- Perform complex planning and execution to assure delivery of fit for purpose including management of project/product scope, schedules, risks, budgets and resources
- Support the Capability Manager with the development and progression of project/product submissions in accordance with One Defence Capability System requirements
- Fundamental Input to Capability (FIC) integration and coordination through high stakeholder engagement and strong relationships
- Develop, update and maintain required project/product documentation to govern the project/product (e.g. iPMP)
- Undertake required Project/Product reporting using applicable management systems (e.g. PPRIP, SPMS)
- Identify and manage Risks, Issues and Opportunities
- Conduct business in accordance with CASG BMS, Project Controls Function policies, procedures and guidelines
What sort of skills do I need?
- Experience within a Defence environment, preferably in the Air Combat domain
- Previous Project Management experience
- Project Management qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Process oriented with good attention to detail
- Minimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen)
